The Freestyle #001: Barcelona to Dubai
Book of Rhymes was the written record — the verses after they were finished. The Freestyle is the live one. Improvised, in real time, from wherever I happen to be. It starts tomorrow, at thirty thousand feet.
I've been building this whole ecosystem in public — the firm, the doctrine, the lab, the record. But building in public has mostly meant showing you the finished thing. The page after it shipped. The verse after it was written.
That's Book of Rhymes. It's the archive. It holds up.
But it's not the whole truth of how this works. The truth is messier and faster and better: most of it happens live, improvised, on a plane, in a hotel, between two other things, with a camera running. So I'm going to show you that instead.
What The Freestyle is
The Freestyle is the live counterpart to Book of Rhymes. Not a highlight reel cut after the fact — the real thing, as it happens. A running, real-time record of what I'm building and how, from wherever I am. When something flips from an idea to a done thing, you'll see it flip. That's the format.
And a format is repeatable. This is #001. There will be a #002, a #003. Every trip, every stretch of real work, becomes an episode. The point isn't the trip — the point is that the execution becomes something you can watch.
Why Dubai, and why now
Tomorrow I fly Barcelona to Dubai. Forty-eight hours, cameras on the whole way. The reason for the trip is a music video with JusChase — the Expressive Layer of everything I'm building, the sound of it. We're making the video for the Jibrael Hindi song, and I'm documenting the entire creative process end to end: how it gets made, how two people who build very differently push each other, what actually happens in the room.
You'll meet JusChase properly through this. That's deliberate. The people who build this with me should be as known as the work.
Your bread and butter
Here's the part that matters if you've ever been on the receiving end of it. If a company has been texting you or robocalling you after you told them to stop — that's not just annoying. Under the law, it can be worth real money. Five hundred to fifteen hundred dollars a message, in a lot of cases. People throw those texts away. I'm telling you to keep them.
That's your bread and butter. I'll be saying it on the way, and I'll show you exactly what to do with it. The whole trip is a build — and part of what I build in public is the path from "I get spam texts" to "I have a case."
How to follow it
It lives here and on my feeds, updated as it happens — not after. The objective list, the process, the video, the receipts, in real time. Nothing waits for a tidy edit. When the plane lands, it doesn't stop; it just changes cities.
