Editorial Policy.
How the Jibrael Hindi Newsroom publishes official updates, founder notes, reviews facts, separates news from opinion, and corrects material errors.
Purpose of the site
JibraelHindi.com is the official site and publishing platform of Jibrael Hindi, publicly known as A Fit Lawyer. It carries public updates, founder notes and doctrine, and selected public documentation connected to Jibrael Hindi and his ventures, including Jibrael Hindi Consulting, The Law Offices of Jibrael S. Hindi, PUMP, media and documentary initiatives, technology and systems work, and related public build activity.
This is a founder-led publisher platform. It is not an independent news organization, and it does not present itself as one.
What we publish
- News at /news: official, factual, dated updates tied to a real event, launch, milestone, or development.
- Notes at /notes: founder essays, doctrine, and thought leadership in Jibrael's voice.
- Build Log (coming): short, dated progress notes on public build activity.
News vs Notes
We keep facts and opinion in separate lanes, and we label them clearly. News is what happened: factual and public-safe. Notes is what it means: interpretation, philosophy, and doctrine. A reader should always be able to tell which one they are reading.
Editorial standards
- Accuracy first. We would rather be quiet than wrong.
- Clear, plain language. Every article carries a byline and a publication date, and a modified date when updated.
- Public-safe by default. We do not publish confidential or privileged information.
- Proof over hype. Opinion and doctrine stay in Notes, not in news.
Fact review and claim review
Outcome, ranking, and financial claims are published only when they are verifiable or anchored to the public record. Any claim awaiting confirmation is flagged or held until it is confirmed. We do not publish numbers we cannot stand behind.
Corrections and updates
When we get something wrong, we fix it. Material corrections update the article's modified date, and significant changes carry a brief note explaining what changed. To request a correction, see our corrections policy.
Use of AI-assisted drafting
We use AI tools to assist with drafting, organization, formatting, and production. Editorial direction, factual approval, and the final decision to publish are human-led. AI does not decide what is true and does not publish on its own.
Conflicts, sponsorships, and promotional content
Because this is a founder platform, much of what we publish concerns Jibrael Hindi's own ventures, and we say so plainly. Where content involves a partner, sponsor, or paid relationship, that relationship is disclosed in the content itself. We do not present promotional material as independent reporting.
Legal and public-safe language
Content on this site is for information only and is not legal advice. Using this site, or contacting us through it, does not create an attorney-client relationship. We write in public-safe language and avoid anything confidential or privileged.
