Unfinished Business

For the last couple of years I’ve been building the mechanism behind everything I do: PUMP Media & Culture — the home of a thesis I call New World Lawyering. People tried to stop me from launching it. So I came here to finish it.

New World Lawyering doesn’t replace the legal system. It changes what the practice of law runs on. Right now, three things still take precedence over the merits:

Inherited position — my father made partner, so I will. Inherited perception — I know the right people, so respect me. Inherited pedigree — I went to the right school, so I’m right. Notice what none of that discusses: how good you actually are.

I’m proposing a different standard — your proofs and your receipts. What you’ve accomplished for people, for your team, for society. In the next video I’ll lay out Old World lawyering against New World lawyering, side by side.
